Another Five Truck Contestants Chosen, Two Drawings Remain

July 11, 2006 –Fifteen of the 25 semi-finalists have been selected for the Getaway Giveaway second chance contest for Nebraska Lottery $2 Scratch games.

The Nebraska Lottery will hold two additional preliminary drawings with five semi-finalists being selected from each drawing. Entries which were included in the pool for the previous drawing for the Getaway Giveaway are not included in the next drawing. The remaining drawings will be held on August 1 and August 31.

The semi-finalist will participate in the Getaway Giveaway on September 3 at the Nebraska State Fair. Through a series of elimination rounds at the fair grounds that afternoon, the field of 25 will be narrowed down. One lucky semi-finalist will win the Grand Prize 2006 Toyota Tundra 4X4 Double Cab truck, a 2006 Fun Finder X210 travel trailer, and a 2006 Yamaha VX110 WaveRunner personal water craft and $100 worth of E-10 Unleaded courtesy of the Nebraska Ethanol Coalition. Ten second-tier winners will each receive $1,000.

The second group of five semi-finalists were drawn on June 20 from among 8,222 entries:

The first group of five semi-finalists were drawn on May 30 from among 3,835 entries:
Dirk Allen, Fremont
Dan Hogan, Horton, MO
Shirley Kelly, Broken Bow
Chrystal Horky, Kearney
Charlette Casey, Ogallala

Entering the Getaway Giveaway requires submission of $10 worth of non-winning $2 scratch tickets from any combination of eligible $2 Scratch games.
