Plattsmouth Man Wins $50,000 Playing $50,000 Crossword Connect

John Hancock of Plattsmouth won $50,000 playing $50,000 Crossword Connect, the Nebraska Lottery $5 Scratch game.

Hancock purchased his winning ticket at Casey’s #2966 at 2104 Pratt Ave. in Bellevue.

When they’re stopping for gas or snacks on a road trip, it’s a tradition for Hancock and his wife to grab a couple of Scratch tickets.

“One for me, one for Mama,” he said.

A $5 Scratch game, Titanium 20s offers players a chance to win prizes from a free $5 ticket to $50,000. The chances of winning $50,000 were one in 216,000, while the odds of winning any prize were one in 3.29.
