Fairfield Woman Wins $22,000 2by2 Prize

Lana Black January 25, 2013 – Lana Black of Fairfield recently won $22,000 playing 2by2 from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were more than 2,000 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Sunday, January 13th drawings. Among these winners was Black, who purchased her winning ticket at Ken & Al's Service, 308 North D Street in Fairfield. The ticket contained three plays. One play contained the winning red ball numbers (17, 22) and winning white ball numbers (17, 22) from the January 13 drawing for a corresponding prize of $22,000.

Two hundred and ninety Nebraska Lottery players have won the 2by2 top prize to date.

Black wasted no time claiming her prize, arriving at Nebraska Lottery headquarters the day after the drawing. She learned she had won after checking the Nebraska Lottery website, nelottery.com. “I saw those numbers and I thought, ‘I just won $22,000,’” said Black. She plans to pay bills and take a trip using her winnings.

2by2 is run by the Multi-State Lottery Association and was introduced in June 2002. Players in Kansas, Nebraska and North Dakota have the opportunity to win up to $22,000 Monday through Sunday by playing 2by2. The odds of winning the $22,000 2by2 top prize are 1 in 105,625. The overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.59.
