$10,000 Powerball® Ticket Sold in Holdrege Expires Thursday

May 21, 2012 – A $10,000 Nebraska Powerball® prize from November 2011 will expire on Thursday, May 24.

For the Nov. 26, 2011, Powerball drawing, one $10,000 winning ticket was sold at Sun Mart, 214 West 4th Street in Holdrege. The ticket matched four of the five winning white ball numbers (20, 37, 39, 45, 55) and the Powerball number (28) for $10,000.

Winning Nebraska Lottery Lotto tickets expire 180 days after the drawing. Players are encouraged to check their tickets and claim any prizes from the Nov. 26, 2011, drawing before the end of the business day on May 24.

Prizes over $500 must be claimed by mail or at a Nebraska Lottery claim center. Claim centers are located in Grand Island, Lincoln, Norfolk, North Platte, Omaha, and Scottsbluff. Click here for claim center addresses and hours.

Three hundred and seventy-six Nebraska Lottery players have won the $10,000 Powerball prize to date. The odds of winning $10,000 playing Powerball are 1 in 648,976, and the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 31.85.

The Nebraska Lottery has offered Powerball since July 1994. Sales of Nebraska Powerball have exceeded $554 million and have helped raise a total of over $439 million for the Nebraska Lottery’s beneficiary funds. All 93 counties in Nebraska have benefited from projects funded with these Nebraska Lottery proceeds.
