Omaha Man Wins $10,000 Playing Mega Millions

April 11, 2012 – Larry Riedel of Omaha recently won $10,000 playing Mega Millions® from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were more than 14,000 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Friday, March 23rd drawings. Among these winners was Riedel, who purchased his winning Mega Millions ticket at Husker Food Store, 4201 South 24^th Street in Omaha. The ticket contained one play with four of the five winning white ball numbers (6, 17, 19, 20, 21) and the Mega Ball number (20) from the March 23 draw for $10,000.

Forty Nebraska Lottery players have won the $10,000 Mega Millions prize since the Nebraska Lottery began offering the game on March 20, 2010.

Mega Millions is a multi-state jackpot game currently offered by 42 lotteries across the United States. The odds of winning $10,000 playing Mega Millions are 1 in 689,065, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 40.
