$22,000 2by2 Prize for Aurora Woman

February 2, 2010 – Virginia Olson of Aurora recently won $22,000 playing 2by2 from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were more than 20,000 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Saturday, January 23, drawings. Among these winners was Olson, who purchased her winning 2by2 ticket at BYCO, 1222 South Locust Street in Grand Island. The quick pick ticket contained the winning red ball numbers (11, 25) and white ball numbers (5, 25) from the January 23 drawing for a corresponding prize of $22,000.

Two hundred and seven Nebraska Lottery players have won the 2by2 top prize to date.

While claiming her prize on January 25, Olson told Nebraska Lottery officials that she learned she had won after visiting the Nebraska Lottery web site, nelottery.com. Olson said that she “screamed” when she realized that she had won the $22,000 top prize. She plans to pay bills using her winnings.

2by2 is run by the Multi-State Lottery Association and was introduced in June 2002. Players in Kansas, Nebraska and North Dakota have the opportunity to win up to $22,000 Monday through Sunday by playing 2by2. The odds of winning the $22,000 2by2 top prize are 1 in 105,625, while the overall odds are 1 in 3.59.
