Crete Man Wins $33,333 Playing Spicy Hot 3’s

October 6, 2009 – Rex Hollman of Crete won $33,333 playing the $5 Scratch game Spicy Hot 3’s from the Nebraska Lottery.

Hollman purchased his winning Spicy Hot 3’s ticket at Stop 'N Shop, 1845 Grove Avenue in Crete. Scratching the ticket, he revealed two matching numbers for a corresponding prize of $33,333.

There are three $33,333 top prizes available in Spicy Hot 3’s. Hollman is the first person to claim a top prize to date.

While claiming his prize, Hollman told Nebraska Lottery officials that he “couldn’t believe it” when he scratched off the ticket and realized he had won $33,333. He plans to pay for some home improvements using his winnings.
