Omaha Woman Wins $10,000 Powerball Prize

March 27, 2008 – Consuelo Martinez of Omaha recently won $10,000 playing Powerball from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were more than 17,000 Nebraska Lottery Lotto winners in the Saturday, March 22, drawings. Among these winners was Martinez, who purchased her winning Powerball ticket at Sinclair Station, 1009 W Mission in Omaha. The four-play quick pick ticket contained one play with four of the five winning numbers (7, 25, 28, 46, 48) and the Powerball number (19) from the March 22 drawing for a corresponding $10,000 prize.

One-hundred and seventy-two Nebraska Lottery players have won the $10,000 prize in Powerball to date. The odds of winning $10,000 playing Powerball are 1 in 584,432 while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 36.61.
